Favorite food, favorite color, favorite sport, etc. What's next? Well I couldn't think of anything else but favorite video games... My favorite video game is one my dad got me called "Super Mario Galaxy 2" It is so fun! I think Ashton has it too... The green dinosaur's name is Yoshi, and the star is named Luma. The man with the moustache is named Mario. It's a great game! Do you like video games? If you do, what's your favorite?

Let the Training Begin!

On July 31st my training for the half marathon I'm doing began... My cousin Emma is also doing it. I am excited! This will be the farthest distance I've ever done at once! 13.1 miles! All this week I've been training! The half marathon is I think the 22nd or 23rd of October. I can't wait! Have you ever run a half?

My Favorite Sport.

I know the picture is a give away... But try guessing anyway: What is my favorite sport? Well besides running my favorite sport is... Football! It involves throwing, catching, and best of all... running! I play football at school, at home with my dad and Josh, and at Ashtons house. Football (and of course running!) are my favorite sports. Needle Point.

Today I had to go to the doctor to get my shots that I were needed for 6th grade. I walked in thinking that I only needed the 1 shot. Actually I needed FIVE. One after another painful shot. The last shot was the worst! It was AWFUL. Have you ever gotten shots?

The Best Book Ever!

My most favorite book ever? Oh that's easy! Beside the Bible (the best book ever) It's the book I'm reading right now called Born To Run. As many of you know running (and football) are my favorite sports, I do them constantly. Anyway... The book is about this guy who can't run without pain. So he goes and searches for an ancient tribe of runners called the Tarahuma. It is a true story and so far a GREAT book. It makes me just want to go running so badly! It is a great book though. What is your favorite book?

My Favorite Shows.

Hello. Do you ever wonder to yourself, "what are Jake's favorite shows?" Well you don't have to wonder anymore. I have two favorite shows. One of them is "The Penguins of Madagascar" It is a fun show about penguins with commando skills. One of my favorite characters is King Julien. He is a ring tailed lemur with a funny Indian accent. My other favorite show is "Man vs. Wild" It's a show my whole family enjoys. It's about a survival expert named Bear Grylls. The show is about Bear Grylls going out into the wild for about a week or so and showing you how to survive. Not only does he show you how to survive in the world's worst enviroments, he risks his life to find food, water, shelter, and most of all: civilization. Plus, he does it all with a British accent. These are my favorite shows. Have you ever seen them? What's your favorite show?

Super Special Happy Fun Day!

Hello. Today was super special happy fun day. We called it this because we were trying to be optimistic about all the appointments we had today. 1st we had a dentist appointment to get our teeth clean. Then (oh goody!) A haircut. Then an orthodontist appointment for me. Then (wait there's more?) Another dentist appointment. Then we had to wait in the car while Mom went to Curves. (could it get any worse?) But don't worry, Mom made it fun. We baked cookies, went to Sonic, and got Skittles at the haircut place. That was a long day... Have you ever had this much fun?

Dsi

Hi guys! I just got a new handheld video game called the Dsi! It is very cool. Besides just playing ds games on it: you can take pictures, make sounds, make little animated videos, and so much more! Mine is Cosmo black. I think my Dsi is pretty cool... Have you ever played a dsi?

Runner Man!

Runner Man. That's me! I've been on a cross country team at my school for a while now. I just finished my first 5k with a time of 32:54. I finished quicker then my mom! I really enjoy running and am getting pretty fast. Do like running?

Braces

Hello! I just got braces! My orthodontist was Mr. Roder. Braces are pretty cool, except for the fact that I can't eat a lot of stuff. Also sometimes people call me "metal mouth" and "brace face" But besides that braces are awesome! Right now the colors of my braces are golden and burgundy. The same color as my favorite football team, The Redskins! Have you ever had braces? (The picture is frommy birthday if you look closely you can see my braces.)

My favorite number!

My favorite number is ten. Do you know why? I was born on October 10.  10/10/99. This part is a little hard to believe, but I was born on 10:10 a.m.! So I was born on the 10th month, the 10th day, the 10th hour and the 10th minute. But not the 10th second. If you don't believe me ask my mom. What is your favorite number?
